Public CAP Feeds

The organizations below provide publicly accessible CAP feeds. Be sure to check with each site's terms of use before relying on these data sources for critical applications.

• Alerts for Sarnia-Lambton, Ont. using the CAP Canadian Profile

• The U.S. Geological Survey Feeds include worldwide data for earthquakes of 2.5 magnitude or greater, as well as volcano alerts from the Alaska Volcano Observatory (CAP 1.0).

• The National Weather Service XML Feeds provide access to U.S. weather watches, warnings and advisories by state (CAP 1.0).

• The NWS West Coast & Alaska Tsunami Warning Center updates its CAP page when Tsunami Warning Messages are issued (CAP 1.0).

• The State of California's Emergency Digital Information Service delivers official information about a wide range of emergencies and disasters to the public and news media (CAP 1.1). (The Atom feed index is at http://edis.oes.ca.gov/index.atom .)

• The Contra Costa County (California) Community Warning System is an all-hazard warning system for this Bay Area county (CAP 1.1). (The Atom feed index is at http://cwscap.cccounty.us .)

• The Carribean island of Anguilla also has an Atom feed of CAP 1.1 messages.
